New partnership to deliver sports lighting expertise, practical guidance, and industry insight for GMA members.

The Grounds Management Association (GMA) is pleased to announce LEDTURE as its newest Platinum Supporter, marking the start of a partnership designed to support grounds professionals and sports facilities through education, knowledge sharing and technical expertise.

Officially launched at Warrington Wolves' final home game of the regular season against Toulouse Olympique on 11 September, the partnership brings together the GMA's extensive grounds management network and LEDTURE's specialist knowledge in sports lighting to help address some of the key challenges facing sports venues across the UK.

From grassroots clubs and community facilities to elite sporting venues, lighting plays an increasingly important role in extending participation, improving playing environments and supporting operational efficiency. Through the partnership, GMA members will benefit from access to practical guidance and expert insight on topics including LED lighting upgrades, lighting design, controls, energy reduction, glare and light spill management, maintenance and whole-life cost considerations.

The partnership is built on a shared commitment to supporting the people and facilities that make sport possible, while helping sports organisations make informed decisions about their infrastructure investments.

Ben Muschamp, Head of Commercial at the Grounds Management Association, said: "We're delighted to welcome LEDTURE as a Platinum Supporter of the GMA. Lighting is a critical part of modern sports facility management, impacting everything from participation opportunities and player experience to sustainability and operating costs. LEDTURE brings valuable technical expertise and a genuine desire to support and engage with our members. We look forward to working together to provide practical insight, education and support that will benefit grounds professionals and facilities across the sector."

As part of the collaboration, LEDTURE will contribute technical content, educational resources, and industry expertise throughout the year, helping GMA members better understand the opportunities and challenges associated with modern sports lighting systems.

Importantly, the partnership is intended to be a two-way relationship. Alongside sharing expertise, LEDTURE is keen to listen to and learn from GMA members. By understanding the real lighting challenges faced by grounds teams, facility managers and sports venues, the company aims to continue developing products, guidance and solutions that respond directly to the needs of the industry.

This ongoing exchange of knowledge and experience will help ensure that the partnership delivers practical value, supports informed decision-making, and contributes to the development of sports facilities at every level of the sport.

Oliver Newman, Sales Director at LEDTURE, said: "Becoming a Platinum Supporter of the GMA is an exciting step for LEDTURE. We see this as much more than a sponsorship. It's an opportunity to work closely with the people responsible for maintaining and developing sports facilities across the country, share our engineering knowledge and, just as importantly, listen to the challenges they face. We're looking forward to building something genuinely valuable together."

The partnership reflects a shared ambition to create long-term value for the sports industry through collaboration, education and the exchange of knowledge, ensuring facilities at all levels of sport can continue to develop and thrive.
