Intermediate Winter Pitch Maintenance (Level 2)

Attend in person to build advanced skills in managing winter sports pitches.

Develop your knowledge of winter pitch care, including turfgrass, fertilisers, pests, non-turf surfaces, and performance quality standards for safe and playable surfaces.

This course is ideal for grounds staff who have completed the 'Introduction to' (Level 1) course or have prior experience, providing hands-on expertise and practical techniques to maintain high-quality winter pitches.

What’s involved?

This in-person course includes expert demonstrations and practical exercises. You’ll learn to assess surfaces, manage turf and non-turf areas, and apply best practice maintenance safely and effectively.
