Sundridge Park Club

Sundridge Park Club is one of Bromley’s leading Racket Sports Clubs, offering exceptional facilities including tennis, squash, padel, bar areas and extensive grounds. We are seeking a reliable, practical and proactive Grounds & Maintenance Person to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role responsible for helping maintain our buildings, sports facilities and grounds to the high standards expected by our members and guests.
The successful candidate will be flexible, self-motivated and capable of carrying out a wide variety of maintenance tasks, ensuring the Club remains safe, attractive and operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the Club's buildings and facilities.
    Undertake routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
    Assist with minor plumbing, decorating, carpentry and basic electrical tasks.
    Upkeep of outdoor facilities, tennis courts & padel courts.
    Perform health and safety checks and report any issues promptly.
    Assist with setting up facilities for events.
    Keep the bar cellar in a safe and tidy condition.
    Change beer kegs and gas bottles in cellar
    Maintain maintenance records and report completed works.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or “handyman” role.
    Practical skills across a range of trades.
    Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
    Friendly, professional approach and willingness to support colleagues.
    Understanding of health and safety requirements.

Hours and Benefits

  • 30 hours per week.
    Flexible working pattern to be agreed based on the Club’s needs.
    Competitive salary dependent on experience.
