Burton Joyce Parish Council is a busy and progressive local council, which serves a thriving community of 3,500 residents. It is responsible for providing a wide range of services and facilities in the village, including a sports ground and pavilion, a large playground, parkland, community garden, allotments, cemetery and a community building as well as floral displays around the village. It also hosts events throughout the year including an annual fireworks display and festive Christmas lights switch-on.
