The countdown is on ahead of the inaugural Community Rugby League Clubs’ Conference on Saturday 20 February, at Robin Park Arena, Wigan.
The NRL’s Director of League Integration and Game Development, Andrew Hill, will be in attendance as a key note speaker, while conference delegates will also receive a match ticket for the Brisbane Broncos and Wigan Warriors World Club Series game that night at the DW Stadium.
The day will be split in to three separate conferences:
1) Club Management
This will be aimed at clubs' senior management – featuring presentations from business experts including PWC as well as opportunities for clubs to share best practice on subjects including membership and fundraising. The Andrew Hill will deliver the closing address.
Targeted to Head Coaches and assistants, featuring updates from the RFL on development projects, an element of CPD and an important opportunity for coaches to share ideas with counterparts from other clubs.
3) Grounds Person
Former Headingley Stadium Head Groundsman Jason Booth will advise in the third session of the day with a number of other grounds maintenance experts present. This area of the conference will offer advice to clubs to help ensure their pitches are as good as they can be.
Places are FREE and limited to the first 50 Clubs who respond. Anyone interested is advised to act fast to ensure your club can be part of the day. Each club can send two delegates to each of the conferences and refreshments are provided.
Clubs wishing to book onto the day, please do so by listing the names of the delegates and which of the three conferences they will be attending - and whether they would require a ticket to the game or not.
