Careers in groundsmanship highlighted at Chelsea Flower Show

GMA head of member service, Karen Maxwell, joined Capel Manor College Sports Turf Academy manager Martin Stanton, apprentices James O’Sullivan and Timothy Stone and Ohio State Intern Amy Wilber - based at the AELTC - at the RHS M&G Young People in Horticulture breakfast event at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The event offered inspiration and networking opportunities to young people at the start of their careers, with speakers including award-winning garden designer Matthew Keightley, Sammy Cookson, category technical manager at Sainsbury’s and Mihkaail Anis, a horticulturist at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore.
